Originally coated for aerial surveillance and cartography, “D” is a panchromatic negative film, offering high contrast and moderate grain. “D” is used by the Russian aerospace industry for generic uses, including military aerial surveillance missions. It is an ISO 500/28° film and can be pushed to EI 1600 and processed as a slide film.

The film is coated on a polyester base and available in 36 and 72 exposure 35mm canisters.
