Loose Associations Vol. 4:1
Loose Associations is The Photographers’ Gallery's printed journal, offering a diverse set of reflections on photography and image culture. Loosely inspired by the gallery’s exhibition programme, LA includes essays both written and visual, artist pages, images, interviews, fiction and philosophy from a wide range of contributors. Taking TPG’s Spring 2018 exhibition, Under Cover – A Secret History of Cross Dressing as a starting point, this issue of Loose Associations aims to make visible the past and present position of the Trans/Queer experience, whilst simultaneously looking to a broader future.
Contributors include CN Lester, Juliet Jacques, madison moore, Kita Updike, Soofiya, RAY BLK, Travis Alabanza, Ibrahim Kamara, Alok Viad-Menon, Victoria Sin and Hannah Quinlin & Rosie Hastings.
