Dragonfilm is hand-rolled in the UK by Steve and James "The Film Guys". Each film is selected for it's unusual, experimental nature.
Dragonfilm IV is Svema 42L, an aerial surveillance film manufactured by Astrum in Ukraine with a high silver content and a grain similar to Kodak Tri-X, producing crisp tones. It has a wide exposure latitude from ISO 100 to 1600, with 400 recommended and increased grain and contrast the higher ISO it is shot at. It's a thin, flat PET film stock so subject to "light piping" when exposed to room light. Please load in dim light and store in a dark camera bag before and after shooting. Thin film stocks are good for scanning but can tear easily so not suitable for automatic cameras.
