Nimie Li & Dieter Vlasich: Me Guardé del Sol (numbered and stamped)

Me Guardé del Sol is a photographic project, shot in a town 2 stops away from Chichén Itzá on Yucatan, in collaboration between textile artist Dieter Vlasich and photographer Nimie Li positioning the community behind the textiles to the forefront through this publication. The series documents intergenerational exchanges of making within families, bringing to life moments of past mythologies that slip through everyday conversations, fostering relationships with nature through play and the reviving of ecological practices.
