Orwo of Bitterfeld-Wolfen in Germany are one of the few factories in the world that can manufacture colour film. They have produced a brand new colour motion picture film NC500 as an alternative to Kodak Vision3 movie films. It's based on the chemistry of Agfa XT320 which was used to shoot Oscar winning movies like Out of Africa. Discontinued in the 1990s it was famous for it's strong greens, desaturated shadows and enhanced grains.

This NC500 is for 35mm stills cameras without the remjet layer on motion picture films and can be developed in the standard C-41 colour process so now you can shoot with this classic stock yourself.
