SX-37 Adaptor

The Instant Optics SX-37 Adapter opens incredible potentials for Polaroid SX-70/SLR 680 shooters, allowing 37mm lenses, prisms, and filters with threaded bases to securely mount to SX-70, SX-70 Sonar, and SLR 680/690 cameras with ease. The SX-37 Adapter opens limitless creative horizons for a wide variety of Polaroid's most classic camera models.

It mounts easily and securely with a simple click and its design elegantly curves away from the shutter button and electric eye, allowing effortless operation of the camera.

When using lenses, prisms, and filters on cameras with auto-focus (SX-70 Sonar and SLR 680/690), you will need to set your camera to “Manual Focus” for proper results. Auto-focus cameras will not understand that a lens has been applied and will auto-focus assuming that it's utilizing only it’s native lens. Switch to “Manual Focus” and trust your eye. SX-70 and SLR 680/690 cameras are SLR’s: The effects you visually observe while looking through the viewfinder while manually-focusing are the effects that will translate to your polaroid pictures.

A Fisheye Lens, Wide-Angle Lens, Telephoto Lens and Neutral Density (ND) Filter are available to mount on the PX-37.
