What We See

‘What we see’ is a collaborative work between Arun Misra, and Imogen Bloor, with poems by Poonam Jain. All three are deeply troubled by what they see happening in Palestine and each had individually been responding to the situation through their own work in different ways.

Collectively they have strived to navigate and articulate their shared feelings of sorrow, anger, and shame through the weight of images, words and their connections. It’s also a call for accountability, holding hope for justice and standing in solidarity with Palestinians. The creative process has evolved through several edits of of a mix of photographic genres – documentary, abstract and conceptual imagery. It was further enriched by conversations with a variety of people with direct and indirect knowledge of the experiences of Palestinian people.

This is a not-for-profit publication and the authors will be giving all proceeds to humanitarian aid charities working in Palestine.
