Kosmo Foto DIREKTOR Photowalk, includes 1 x DIREKTOR 35mm film

Join Stephen from Kosmo Foto and the Bookshop Team for a cinematic photo walk on Saturday 22 August.

In 2017 film photography blog Kosmo Foto launched its Space Age-themed Mono film.

In 2021, it went full film noir with its spy-themed film Agent Shadow.

Now, we can reveal its latest film: DIREKTOR!

KOSMO FOTO DIREKTOR is a limited-edition re-rolled version of Kodak’s peerless 5222 XX black-and-white cinema film.

It was launched earlier this year with a special early version “director’s cut” offered at the Photographica camera fair in London in May.

DIREKTOR is now only available from the Kosmo Foto online shop, but they have kept some stock for a  collaboration with us. The DIREKTOR walk will take place on Saturday 22 August, starting at the The Photographers' Gallery on Ramilles Street London W1F 7LW at 11am.

Tickets cost £20 including VAT. Each ticketholder will get a roll of KOSMO FOTO DIREKTOR.

The walk will work its way through central London visiting various landmarks from cinema history – and we're challenging you to think like a director, taking shots you think could be a still from a film. 

On top of that, there will be some spot prizes from Kosmo Foto and its online camera shop Cameraburo and 10% discount in-store all day for participants.
